By removing long-standing good-faith religious-expression safeguards and using vague terms like “intimidation” or “hate symbols,” the bill risks criminalizing normal religious teaching, peaceful assembly, and community advocacy.

These are centre-right policy decisions; not the direction many expected from a modern Liberal government.
And it would appear as though everyone’s disappointed— from liberals who now feel politically abandoned, to conservatives who are left wondering what it is they’re supposed to attack.
