Trump, Orban, Putin in unison hate and suppress LGBT+ people, free press, civil society, universities, Ukrainian independence. Your failure to distinguish between an autocrat hanging propaganda posters and people fighting for their basic rights is incomprehensible to me, so let's leave it at that.

Thanks for the advice!... In the meantime, though, I just wonder: why such a strong minded fellow as yourself is wasting time on bsky patronising dissidents instead of street fighting - to the victory! - abundant far right clowns and thugs in his own backyard?...

First thought of suggesting to get educated about mass protests in Budapest during the last decade... But then again - why do you care about what the President of EC does or does not do in another EU country, since you're not part of EU? Or you wished to stay, but didn't protest hard enough?... 🤔

I leave here, for reference, a photo from the Baltic Pride gathering in Vilnius 15 years ago. It’s been a bloody long road walked by so many courageous and loving people. And it’s not over yet.

The ruling means that people in Lithuania will be able to register gender-neutral partnerships by turning to the courts. The Court also ruled that the parliament must adopt a law on registering civil partnerships.
