I cut my teeth protesting vs. Jean Marie Le Pen in France. The French are *master* protesters. We can learn a lot from them. 1st thing to know: there is no such thing as "too late." We can protest before, during, and *after* a coup. Eastern Europe did it under tyranny. So can we.

I was following a lot of smart scientists in late 2019/early 2020 so was not surprised by the pandemic when it hit. H5N1 feels similar and I want to be prepared, especially with orange Hitler/the bear killer in charge. Where are the smart scientists/epidemiologists/public health researchers here?

I think about this a lot right now. You should too. What will we build when they fail? We need to be ready. They had a multi-decade plan they grinded out. They colonized media, they colonized law schools, colonized churches & put them in service of their plan. Are you in meetings & making plans? 🧵
The fascists won temporarily, but fascism is for losers. They'll fail. They are con men and swindlers. And when they do lose, we make a real democracy. The kind they hate. Their "creative destruction" will be democracy rising.
