Ok look. I know that for whatever reason Space Marines are almost never allowed to be out of their armor (not in universe, just that authors and media creators rarely depict them out of armor) but if they are wearing 2200lbs of armor they cannot be sitting on stools in random human villages!

Doing a little prologue session for our Shadowrun campaign since our other player is sick and Thanksgiving is next week. Malibu the hobgoblin street runner and Patch the mobile mafia doc have stumbled upon some street gangers robbing one of Patch's colleagues.

Like, narratively and thematically, everyone knew going into the Horus Heresy books that it would end with the confrontation depicted in Adrian Smith's iconic painting, which predates the Horus Heresy books by a few years at least.

BUT the actual panic in my players when I started moving the animatronics between rooms while they were in other parts of the restaurant was worth every hour of prep.

I told Kelsey that I was expecting more songs like V.A.N off the Bad Omens album I listened to yesterday and was surprised the rest of the songs mostly didn't have that same vibe and she responded by shooting me straight through the soul.
