Battletech goes synthwave with this Vapor Eagle for my newest merc band, Malibu Overdrive. This was such a departure from my comfort zone but I'm so happy I tried it now that it's done.
But for real, Netrunner was my first major card game and I got into it long before I ever played Magic, and in fact only got into Magic to play with some friends who played a while back.
My opinion may be the minority but having played both I vastly, vastly prefer Netrunner (and will teach it!)

It was a son of a bitch to get set up and working but playing Mechwarrior 5 on a twin joystick setup is one of the coolest things I've done since I got the sticks.
Surprisingly quick to get used to as well! My friend and I have picked up our old Mercs campaign to play until the new DLC in 3050.

Absolutely loved the Stranger Things finale. I have no idea what the haters are talking about. Very happy from start to finish. 😊 good show, ended well. A rarity these days.

I have 1 system fan of many in my pc case which, if it spins up too high, gets insanely noisy. The fan itself works, its just annoyingly loud. So I finally decided to download a fan controller app and diagnose which one it was. The app automatically deprioritized the noisy fan with no temp impact 👏😌

I'm going through my old L5R LCG stuff and organizing it and...how do I have 12 Honor dials? I think 2 came in a starter box and there is absolutely no way I bought 6 starter boxes when this game came out? Confused lol.

Last time on our Shadowrun group's 30 Nights campaign, Malibu the streetwise smuggler (me) and Patch the pacifist medic-to-the-mob tracked a lead on a portable generator to an abandoned subway. A gang of violent thieves had found it first and things looked dicey, until the doc threw the flashbang.

I occupy a strange place as someone who with exceptions generally does not like anime but who is fascinated by Japanese food, art, and history because my dad used to show us his collection of slide projector photos from when he lived there for a few years in the 80s when I was a little kid.

Lo and behold my musing this morning on old FFG LCGs inspired a look through my closet and I've pulled out my either complete or almost complete collection of Android: Netrunner (plus a few sets of the fan made continuation of the game) and my much less than complete Legend of the Five Rings LCG.

I don't want to play Magic the Fortnite, I want to play LCGs from that got discontinued almost a decade ago because FFG got investor torpedoed but which I still have boxes of in my closet but no one to play with!

Been reading a ton of Legend of the Five Rings 5e rules lately and in the hypothetical game I am constructing in my head for this niche rpg system I really, really think I would just pick another member of the party and make a clan appropriate yojimbo(bodyguard) to their character.

I was bamboozled yesterday at guitar. Been working on the intro part of Thunderstruck which is at 133bpm. I told my teacher I could play it at 100 and he held the metronome and asked me to show him how it was going. It was tough but I did it.
He turned the metronome around and had set it to 130bpm.

I wish I could mentally put my other creative hobbies into the same mental box as cooking. I love cooking. I like making foods I've never made or tinkering with dishes I have made 1000 times. I don't punish myself mentally for not cooking every day or pushing myself to cook technically complex stuff
