I'm thoroughly disgusted by how apathetic the people around me are. All talk, but not a single worthwhile fuck to be given. My prime emotion is anger now. And, on a personal level, what my sister and my arrogant jackass BIL did has left me reeling. I now exist purely out of spite.

What else am I supposed to feel? I've no friends left here, and my sister unnecessarily, selfishly, ignorantly moved her family to a deep red state. I've been very firm about boycotting that nazi state by not visiting, but I'm utterly alone in that. Except for occasional moments, I feel little else.

I'm worried everyday about what ignorant dumb shit they'll be subjected to, what the schools and the culture will try to imprint on them. Tried my best to lead by example while they were here: kindness, acceptance, patience, honesty. I hope I did enough. They're smart, I hope they see through the bs

It wasn't for my niece and nephew. You don't move from a state that's top 5 in education to one in mid-40s for the kids. You don't move to a state that salivates at the thought of punishing abortion with the death penalty for your teenage daughter. You moved for yourself, full stop, selfish shit.

Disney did it so dirty; Season 3 should have been so much more than it was, and I commend DT and the rest of the crew for what they managed to accomplish with the final episodes regardless.
