It's latent, mostly, and obviously that (extremely justified) dissatisfaction could be harnessed to hideous ends. The whole Trump project is counting on that. But to the extent I can feel any optimism, as I wrote after the election, it's in how awake and angry people seem. defector.com/beyond-belief

Interesting look at the Oakland chapter of the SPA's "Socialist Sunday School." Cool how they took the role of children so seriously and trusted them with decisions/their education. And it took place on the lawn where I played capture the flag in middle school! Our history is everywhere

Here's a way I'm thinking about US socialist electoral strategy that might help frame people's thinking. It centers on the differences/overlaps of three different ecosystems: labor, progressives, and socialists. Each of them brings different benefits to electoral campaigns they’re working on.
