Aftersound is a new performance series in and around Portland Maine, focusing on multi-channel and spatial audio. The name derives from Maryanne Amacher's concept of the "aftersound", the sonic sensation that lingers after the sound itself has stopped.
Asha holds a Ph.D. in Multimedia and Electronic Music Experiments and an M.A. in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University, and has taught at Street Level Youth Media, Brown University, RISD, and Bates College.
