Also, the image of Textor celebrating anything on Forest’s pitch given what’s happened to Palace over the summer is quite strange.

Not seen this before. Owner of selling club on the pitch of the buying club, celebrating with the player after he’s just traded. Four Textor players moved to Marinakis this summer.

I agree, mate. The difference with United and Arsenal is the financial aspect. Arsenal never finished 15th. Arsenal weren't in debt like United are. Managers at our club feel more pressure because of what the ownership has allowed to happen. Owners want results asap to ease the financial burden.

Oh the ownership must surely be accountable. They need to hope that Amorim turns things around for their sake as well. I don't think sacking Amorim would be the right thing to do, but INEOS made it clear that if you don't perform in 1 or 2 years, you're out. That should stand for the manager too.

I get that, mate. But ending 15th in the PL last year, not winning the UEL & struggling to sell a lot of our players have played it's part as well. With that context & 200m+ spent, the manager's been backed. Lammens will also most likely sign this week. I'm not Amorim out, but the clock is ticking.
