It's Catholic Schools Week! We met our teams for the Blue and Gold games at the end of the week, and chose team names. My team decided to be the "Blue Gems." Later, I added some Crystal Gems from Steven Universe.

Another one of the dress up days is "What do you want to be when you grow up?", with the adults doing retirement themed things. I want to be a crazy cat lady with lots of tattoos and floral dungarees. Also crazy colored hair, but this is just a preview. 😊

We're doing "Underground Teacher Dress Up" days for Catholic Schools Week next week. Monday is supposed to be "cowboy," and they suggested flannel shirts. But I have ACTUAL RANCHER inlaws, so I'm not going to let them down. Thank you, Tractor Supply!

I have my middle schoolers analyze songs. We just did "Land of the Grey" by Ginny Owens, which mentions (amongst other things) a politician who becomes corrupt. Here was this kid's answer:
