I love when teams forget how to defend when it comes to Man City.

Really makes the league interesting.

Fulham ain't getting anything here.

Classic case of teams folding the second City show up.

Which is a massive shame as they really aren't that good right now.

Today is the most I've wanted a win all season.

Just show up guys that's all I ask for.

Harvey Barnes is the latest player who forgets how to shoot when they are against City.

Gabriel's injury doesn't look good at all.

I absolutely despise international breaks, especially when it's needless friendly matches.

Just really can't be bothered.

So it looks like they are 2 for 2 for defending their title winning seasons and not being anywhere near.

Almost like both of their Prem titles had zero competition and they've lost every actual title race they've been in.

City and Liverpool fans saying that tomorrow they need to make sure they don't draw, so at least one of them stays close to Arsenal.

And the scary part is that I think around half of them aren't making jokes.

The way rivals are talking about us tonight is so funny.

Then they'll all cry when we get loud when we start winning things.

Wait on us. We're coming.

Seeing discourse again on #afc being boring to watch, especially from Lfc/City fans

I'd find it boring too if I was watching my title rival win weekly whilst never conceding

We aren't here to put on a show

That entertaining Arsenal used to exist and we got battered, no wonder rivals loved that.

Palace can absolutely do one for what they've done re EFL cup dates.

They were getting less than 2 days rest REGARDLESS of the original date or the new date.

The change they have cried for hasn't changed their rest time, all it's instead done is drag us down with them.

Disgusting.

This is the real Slot, this is him without:

Huge injuries to rival teams
Huge luck
Huge ref decisions going his way

You all tried gaslighting us all last season, and we had to take it.

Not anymore.

We knew what we were seeing.

So many tears about our set pieces, yet the anger should be towards the fact that 95% of teams have no interest in playing an open game of football against us.

We'd happily play an open game every week as we all know what would happen every time.

Haaland looks more complete than ever this season.

Main thing with City is to make sure that they also let in a lot of goals, which they easily could do.

Issue is that teams they play are doing that thing where they miss everything.

Madueke being doubled-up on as they know lw isn't a huge issue.

WHY NOT START EZE.

This coach is so stubborn at times man.

I reckon Liverpool could do with a bit more luck this season. They're not getting enough.

Surely Mikel didn't just buy Eze to use as an out and out winger???

Every season I forget what it's like playing Spanish teams in Europe and I get frustrated all over again.

They'd genuinely go to ground if you coughed on them.

Only we could have our final injured striker get injured by being headbutted by his own teammate.

That is no small cut, he will have to go off.

Our injuries are only down to the coaches training regime though remember!!

Every single time I go to look at Twitter there's about 20 notifications and it's mostly Tommy Robinson. I don't follow him, I don't follow any of his admirers, and yet that's who it wants me to see. Astonishing that the UK government's position on this platform remains "it's fine"
There’s a dormant London Centric Twitter account I set up and barely used, which still has all the default settings including notifications. Anyway this is the second time today it’s pushed a Tommy Robinson tweet at me. Given millions of Brits will have the app, god knows how many are getting this.

They'll still run the underdog narrative because they can't help themselves.

But Lfc HAVE to dominate how Man City have with Pep, with that level of spending this summer.

(On top of a squad that already just won the title).

Thought Califiori was great today, got a feeling he's going to end up being a giant player for us these coming years.

Absolutely no shame in losing at Anfield, especially when this current LFC side somehow gets moment after moment.

Sort our or injury issues and lfc even have a slice of misfortune and this is our league for the taking...

Plenty of positives today - don't be gaslit into thinking otherwise.

Feel like that Grav challenge was swept over pretty quickly?

Through the back of him with both legs fairly out of control?
August 25, 2025 at 7:10 PM
Isn't this the part where we have to call them Stoke City or something.
