I grew up around a ton of people from Samoa and the Pacific Islands. Everyone thats not your parents and are older than you is Auntie or Unc and everyone your age is called Uce. Those getting up in arms about Mamdani calling an older relative Aunt just show they never got invited to the barbecue.
