Unpopular? That production is one of the ones who portray Jesus and Judas as more human and nuanced. Minchin and Forster did a great job! Great chemistry. Their interactions became even more desperate, as the tour continued, trying to fight their destiny. It was heartbreaking. Tim is my fave Judas

I've seen two live JCS stage productions in the last 18 months, one with inspired stage effects that were visually gripping; great costuming as well – all very contemporary. I also watched a video of the 2012 JCS arena tour with Tim Minchin as Judas; the raw singing power was amazing. 2/4
