I like the theory that living Alastor had first tried to contact Lucifer multiple times, before calling out to anyone in the beyond who might be listening, & now he's pissed not only at not getting a response, but also that the "King of Hell" is a doofy little clown man.

It explains why she can go one on one with Valentino or Velvet, and why she seems to be virtually indestructible.

Alastor. Absolute rat bastard who loves toying with people, and has an unusual & weirdly stimmy voice? I'm there.
Guy in a white lab coat (from Finneas and Ferb, I think?) saying "If I had a nickel for every time I loved a sadistic demon sociopath character named Al I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice." The two Als are Alastor, the deer themed radio demon from Hazbin Hotel, and Alucard, the enslaved vampire lord from the Hellsing manga and animes. Both are grinning wildly and looking absolutely manic. They also both wear mostly red.

Unico was my first anime & I still have my battered VHS. Katy had the street smarts of a corgi pup, but she was determined, feisty & caring, if a little selfish. I thought about the Old Woman a lot as a kid, & hoped Katy & Beezle stayed.
