The US supreme court has ruled that schools must give children the chance to opt out on faith grounds from listening to storybooks that feature gay and transgender characters, in a landmark decision that will be seen as a win for religious rights in education.

This morning was by far the best snow of the week in #Pittsburgh. Just after sunrise a heavy band of snow came through the city and it created some magical scenes from pretty much everywhere. I was on the West End when it started and just before the city disappeared I was able to capture this view.
