If the problem is lack of exposure to other cultures and people, then globalization and integration is the answer. My hesitation with this is how to properly encourage diversity while protecting culture.

However, to reject identity would also mean to reject culture, which isn't the goal. The goal is harmony, which means "identity" isn't the problem. It's the lack of exposure.

Having no identity is the source of loneliness for some people since we rely on our identities for belongingness, but having no identity could also be seen as having no walls in which to confine oneself.
