This is not precisely the point here, but it remains amazing to me the degree to which the entire culture and worldview of elite journalism is fundamentally skewed towards Republicans because of exactly three elections. They've won the popular vote exactly twice in the last 32 years.

Those of us who have been paying Too Much Attention to politics have been exhausted for eons of the constant re ligating of the 2016 democratic primary. Well, good news! Now we get to relitigate the 2024 presidential election!

Sad to say, I haven't been shocked yet and we have not yet reached a potential scenario I imagined. I've been writing a AAR based on Terra Invicta, and this was my prediction of what might have happened by July of 2026. I wrote it in January, before he took office.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you per se, but I am going to start this discussion the way i always do: by starting from the acknowledgement that Harris did better than almost any other incumbent party that year, and that every incumbent party lost vote share.

Look, I am going to do you a favor. Getting into arguments about what is "actually" paedophilia in "technical" sense makes it sound like you are trying to excuse the rape of underage teenagers by grown ass adults. Just..stop.

From the letter itself (source here: www.harvard.edu/research-fun... ) . So, the way i read that is if a department isn't able to "achieve viewpoint diversity" control over admissions and hiring for that department will be transferred to a department that *is* able to do it.

Look, I hear what you are saying, but these were the NY results in 2020. There is no universe, none, where "lack of dem on the ground preparation" changes the vote by two million votes and 20%. That literally does not happen. NV is in a whole different category and worth discussing.
