I enjoyed it more than most. Probably a 7/10 for me. Now I’m back on Pertwee. I recognised the beach in The Sea Devils and realised I used to live just up the road from it in Eastney, Portsmouth.

Thought Troughton was excellent as Salamander, the plot and supporting cast were all top notch, and it was refreshing to not have an alien monster. The people tricked into a bunker and making earthquakes didn’t work for me, but my main issue was not enough Doctor. He felt redundant in his own show.

Finally, here's a comparison of the Hunter G model to the original. For as different as it may seem, it's remarkably faithful. (More images in this earlier thread, from before you could post GIFs to Bluesky.)

Minor quibble, the renders are by me, using some assets by Tadeo, after I commissioned him to model the bridge, but he was unable to complete due to other commitments. I’ve be slowly adding to it over the years. One day it might even be finished.

I literally just finished watching Day of the Daleks. Great 3rd Doctor story. Basically, it’s Terminator, but instead of Sarah Conner it’s Wurzel Gummidge.
