It’s very special. I’ve pretty much finished it and there is place reserved for it on my “keep forever” shelf. I see that Foolish Fish awarded it “book of the year” 2024 as well. Worth it for the tree of life diagram alone.

3/3 Guide would point at a bit of flat ground and say stuff like ‘that’s a post hole’ and if you looked carefully there was a subtle change of colour. They are short of cash and publicity but won’t let me post any pics 😢 Anyway, shout out to Culver Archeological Project.

No glamorous mosaics but plenty of broken pottery and remains of pit kilns/furnaces. So not much to look yet. There was the most extraordinary whole storage pot they had dug out of a pit. Perhaps a religious offering.

2/2 Added Google Play store and I’m trying it out as my daily driver. So far much lighter and better battery life but sound not as good. I mostly use headphones though. So that’s not a big problem.
