We have 'HikeSmart' some places here, and then also a recent addition, "Recreate Responsibly" a campaign by retail industry org + land managers, borne out of the peak of poor behavior during the early days of covid.

My personal view: make it a Via Ferrata and everybody clips in, or take the cables down and make it another mountain you need gear and skills to climb. Not a fan of this in-between business of cables. No way the Park Service would build something like this today.
