After our day at The Winnipeg Humane Society, we went down the street for a brief lesson on Rooster Town and the dispossession of the Métis.

I am Métis and only recently learned about Rooster Town, two years ago. FYI - Dr. Laura Forsythe is an amazing professor!

We visited the Winnipeg Humane Society today for our LTI (Learning Through Interests) outing. We helped them prep for an event next week; toured, and met some cute and cuddly animals! P.S. Ricky is a year old good boy who is looking for a furever home!
