I'm extremely inflexible, so I'm going to choose to believe this with unwavering certainty.
Many elite distance runners have horrible flexibility.

They can't come close to touching their toes.

Why? A stiff spring can be beneficial.

Some research found the worse you do in the sit and reach test, the better your running economy.

Olympic triathlon champion Alex Yee will make his marathon debut at the 2025 London Marathon on Sunday, April 27th.

His PBs are 13:9.18 for 5000m from July 2019 and 27:51.94 for 10,000m from May 2018

He represented Team GB in the 10,000m at the 2018 European Athletics Championships & placed 14th

For 80-90% of your exercise, you should be able to have a full-on conversation.
