I’m a descendant of ‘Norfolk Strangers’. My ancestors arrived in Norwich in the 1590s, fleeing religious persecution and such refugees made a lasting contribution to Norwich and the country as a whole. The city has a great tradition of welcoming and valuing migrants. Long may it go on.
I'm going to an event this Sunday to join many others who say refugees and migrants are welcome in Norwich and to oppose a far-right anti-migrant demo. Details are below. Watch the video to learn more.

Just came across this job post on LinkedIn. What a fantastic job title! Imagine being asked ‘and what do you do?’ Presumably, the role involves more than saying “Who smelt it, dealt it”, so I won’t bother applying
