First sight after leaving the house this afternoon for my daily walk was a young lad trying to fix his bike chain (I haven't looked at a bike for 40+ years so offered my apologies) and the second was a hearse with its funeral cortège. The auguries felt loaded.

Ok, here's something fairly extraordinary. Recently found 8mm footage has been married up with audio and it's now possible to see/hear 12 mins of VdGG at Massey Hall Toronto '76. Respect to Jim Christopolus for doing this.

I'd like more bands to book gigs at a theatre with a box office (= no extra charges). Just bought a ticket for Black Country, New Road from a gent in a booth at Stockport Plaza which was quite satisfying.
