Leonardo Rizzuto was later acquitted of gun and gangsterism charges because cops used illegal wiretaps in the probe. Here’s a link to the Journal story about the police raid and what officers found in his house: 4/4

I like seeing people reading my books 📚; it's a pity he didn’t get an updated edition, it’s much better. I’m less keen on cops finding two guns and ammo nearby, according to the story in Journal de Montreal by @ericthibault.bsky.social, @felixseguin.bsky.social and @maxdelandqmi.bsky.social. 3/4

I knew Leo Rizzuto had read my book because we’d talked about it a bit, plus he sued me for a million bucks for things he didn’t like in it. (He lost. I paid nothing). What’s odd is the book on his table appears to be a rare first edition from 2006, nine years before the police raid. 😗 2/4

I don't think they can just apply for a new patent -- because it is no longer a new thing, it's already been invented. If it was that easy, they wouldn't have had high-priced lawyers fighting it in court for two years.
