I'm not sure what iirc amps is, but that's very fascinating. I wonder if that's why tadpoles of M. nepenthicola can live and develop inside the pitchers.

So cool! I kinda suspected it, also because it rarely has upper pitchers. More like detritivorous than carnivorous!
