A Wolverine of the First Genyosha, my first piece of the year. My most popular piece(and also my favorite), a Summoner Prime of the First Rasalhague Bears for my son. Since I don't want to use the same pic twice, my (technically second-) favorite piece, a Dire Wolf Prime from the First Rasalhague Bears. My most recent piece is a Repulsor Executioner, "Nocturne's Fury" of the Salamanders' Second Company. Probably won't be my last piece of the year, though. Maybe.

Babylon 5. Yeah, the effects are a bit dated, but it's such an outstanding series from start to finish. The series finale, Sleeping in Light, remains the absolute gold standard for how to end a show.

Happy Godzilla Day! 71 years ago, Godzilla was released, and pop culture has never been the same since. In honor of his birthday, I'm gonna drop my top 3 Godzillas(both in design and film). Godzilla 1985 was my first G-film, the OG Godzilla is a classic, and Minus One was absolute cinema.
Godzilla from Godzilla 1984/1985, absorbing radiation for sustenance. Much in the same way I derive sustenance by absorbing the groans of people who are subjected to my dad jokes. Godzilla from Minus One, roaring into the sky. This is also the same noise I make and pose I strike when I stub my toe on furniture. Godzilla from the original 1954 Godzilla/Gojira. Not a cellphone in sight, just living in the moment.

Thanks! Kodiaks have been one of my favorites since I first saw it waaaaay back in the MW2: Ghost Bear expansion.
An unfortunate Smoke Jaguar Mad Dog runs afoul of a VERY angry Ghost Bear Kodiak. It ends about as well as you think it would for the Jag.

I had forgotten how much I love the sea.
The open ocean at dawn, the sky lightening on the right side. The vibrant blue of the ocean at midday. Sunset at sea, the sky turning orange, tinging the clouds pink. The sea at night, a vast blackness illuminated by the stars above.

In my experience with GW's intro games, they usually come as a single piece or a few pieces that can be simply push-fit, no glue or paint required.

This does mean I will finally be retiring my OG 3025 TRO, though. This book was with me through one year of middle school, 4 years of high school, 6 years of naval service, 2 years of culinary school, and the birth of my son to his high school graduation. Here's to the next 30+ years.

Finally got my copy of the new #battletech 3025 TRO! While the updated artwork for the 'Mechs is really nice, I LOVE the redesigned AeroSpace Fighters. Honestly makes it hard to choose because almost all of them look so good now!

Honestly, it's the thing I'm most excited for. Well, that and more Ghost Bear stories. Also, holy moly, the Chippewa got one heck of a glow-up!
The new and improved Chippewa, with 300% MORE AWESOME(but not that Awesome). Love the beefier fuselage and redesigned cockpit. Spoiler alert still applies, though. The Chippewa as it appears in the original TRO. Big flying wing, can't discuss any kind of media around it due to the massive spoiler.
