I can't remember where I read it but if I recall it correctly, most children who are amazingly good at maths end up regressing back to a completely normal level before adulthood anyway so even if they are really good it probably won't matter much in the long run

I actually can't really remember a lot of skyrim's map outside some of the main cities and I definitely don't remember a lot of 4's map since I didn't actually play it that much before giving up lmao

I mean it's definitely not perfect and a lot of it was added right near the end of development but I kinda liked it being a bit more freeform and more varied than new vegas' in some ways. but NV is still the better game anyway and the map thing is more personal preference

Honestly the problem with New Vegas is the extremely short development time really fucked it badly in a lot of ways, but the final product was still a million times smarter than 3 was at its best (though I still have a fondness for 3's map, except the mess that is DC)

also fallout 3 with the main request effectively removed would be a better game

true, but the funny thing is i can still go back and play fallout 3/new vegas despite the jank and ancient shit (assuming mods and patches)

but i also haven't liked any of their games since skyrim tbh
