I have listed two Edith Birkin paintings on eBay today - from her later period, abstracts- I have an email from the art gallery who sold these to a family member as provenance. I just don’t want them to get ‘lost’. #womensart

Spent many hours weeding the garden today, rediscovering plants which I had forgotten about entirely, struggling to get the light amongst mountains of ground elder and Jacob’s ladder. 😃

I stopped feeding the birds in my garden so as not to assist in the spread of disease but I tipped the last of the feed I had on the lawn and seeing all the chaffinch with diseased feet is really awful, haunting.

#Custom House Hotel beside the Erskine Bridge just outside Edinburgh. £78 for two for the night - what a find. Amazing pressure, so stylish, where the Clyde meets the canal. Gorgeous.

I’ve got this thing which I think a lot of people have actually of when I see something ghoulish to me like a rat or Jacob Rees Mogg I can’t help staring even though it haunts me. I’ve been staring at the poor chaffinch this morning with terribly diseased feet, poor things. 😢
