We're still under a boil water notice and I have no idea what that means when it comes to showering or doing dishes??? Not sure the idea of bathing or washing in water that has a boil notice sounds good to me. 👀 I'm kinda grossed out by the whole thing, tbh.

My latest piece. It's been a few months since I've written. That says a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read my words.

I wrote this piece 7 years ago this day. It's about #disability #carers & #respite. It's about being the parent of a profoundly disabled child. It's about not receiving the support needed & being housebound. 7 yrs on. What has changed?

It’s me! ✨

I’m in the last part of the article (yes, I know there’s an error about @projectinfant.bsky.social - I’m going to try and get it amended)

But, see? Me, talking to Roderic O’Gorman. I’m either pissed off or serious, hard to tell with me, sometimes… 😅

Many disabled & chronically ill people are feeling left behind by those who've left Twitter. Concerns range from not having enough spoons to make transition, not knowing where to go and fears they won't be able to find their people once they get there.

How can we ensure no one gets left behind?
