Since I last posted here I got my gender updated with SSA (literally the day before they stopped), my wife & I escaped South Carolina and officially moved to Philadelphia, & I got a hearing date scheduled for my name change. Sharing some trans joy seems more important than ever these days!

One of our best friends is a very talented artist, who my wife & I met through work years ago. Last night she reminded us of an old selfie from a holiday party over 6 years ago and how it'd always been a personal favorite, so she decided to make this wonderful new version (original included for ref)

The Lion King is my wife's favorite childhood movie, and she put it on in the background today to cathartically enjoy the end when Simba comes back and burns it all to the ground. If only we had Simba irl 😭

Weather was pretty amazing today and I tried to enjoy as much as possible with temps dropping here next week (not to mention the move up north soon)

Today officially marks 6 months on HRT!

Made a lot of Before/After photos since transitioning but these may be my favorites yet. Love how something so small/physically subtle can clearly show how much transition truly saved me!

Had a ton of anxiety about seeing lots of family today for first time since transitioning but things went really well! I know I've dissociated through a lot of thanksgivings over the years but I can easily say this was my favorite yet. Amazing what being your real self can do 💜
