How it feels to live in this country lately.

It actually really hurts my feelings when anyone implies that I'm not doing enough. This is just on LinkedIn. I have a spreadsheet that's at a little over 900. It's hard out there, y'all. It's BEEN hard out there.

I wonder this all the time! Are certain jobs just reserved for special classes of people and the rest of us have to scramble for whatever scraps are left?

I’m so tired. I would never do it but I get why people end up in bad relationships sometimes because you’re just looking for someone to share emotional burdens with only to end up with twice the trouble.

I used to have a spreadsheet where I tracked my applications but when it got to 500 I stopped because it made me feel like dying.

I’ve been job hunting since my lay off last January. I’ve been working as a secretary since last May. It doesn’t even come close to paying me what I need to survive much less pay my student loans. I expect the job market to get a lot more brutal. If you have a job, DO NOT LEAVE.

So many people are experiencing this yet it still feels depressingly lonely because I think we’re just not talking to one another about because everyone’s a little bit ashamed of struggling so much.
