I've been keeping a small secret...this weekend, @societyofauthors.bsky.social funded me to visit @thedeephull.bsky.social, one of the largest aquariums in the UK 😭🌊 It was magical, and I've come away with a wealth of photos/video/audio to use for my book!

On fire this week! Completed an important emotional arc and added a chapter and an epilogue in my gigantic book plot grid 🔥 That's 10 chapters to rewrite, 2 to write, and 7 to polish...that's achievable by the end of the year, surely?! 👀

Just got out of a meeting with an artist I'm supporting, who is putting on trans-led, educational shows about being transgender in rural areas across England. It was a painful meeting, given the backdrop of the recent ruling and continued erosion of trans rights here in the UK. (1/?)
