Did Trump order Kimmel’s dismissal? I remember reading a historian arguing that Hitler didn’t order anything explicitly but just made it very clear what would please and displease him and what would be the consequences of his displeasure.

Today in 1945 US Army Sgt Edward Allen Carter was shot 5 times assaulting a German position. 8 enemy troops tried to capture him but he killed six & took 2 back to friendly lines where he interrogated them in German.

Because he was African American he did not receive the Medal of Honor. Until 1997.

Horrifying to see South Carolina preparing for its first execution by firing squad. The inmate, Brad Sigmon, will have a hood placed over his head and a target pinned over his heart before a three-person squad fire their rifles. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
South Carolina prepares for first firing squad execution, ushering return of rare method
Brad Sigmon, 67, has opted not to die by electrocution or lethal injection in his planned March 7 execution. The last firing squad execution was carried out by Utah in 2010.

No, Democrats, these little auction signs aren't it. You're acting like Wes Anderson characters who don't understand that they're in a Tarantino movie.

This is Winston Churchill visiting the White House during World War II.

Funny how he isn’t wearing a suit either. Almost like he was a wartime leader defending his country from being slaughtered and wiped out by an authoritarian aggressor.

I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋

One of those brilliant suggestions you read and think to yourself, 'Why on earth haven't I thought of or read about this idea before? It's so damned obvious!'
Why stopping knife crime needs to start in the kitchen
Phasing out pointed-tip kitchen knives in favour of round-tip knives is a natural extension of the UK’s progress on weapons control.

Empty canisters of Zyklon B.
Auschwitz I. Block 4.

Zyklon B was a pesticide produced by Degesch. From late 1941, it was used at Auschwitz to murder people in gas chambers, overwhelmingly Jews, but also small groups of prisoners: Polish, Soviet POWs, or Roma and Sinti.
