To his credit he was always approachable. One night I said hello & asked him where he got the shirts. He told me that a fan would make them for him so as a way of saying thank you, he would wear them live on Raw/PPVs. He asked if I liked them - I lied, with a “Sure do, King. “

I was just listening & heard the chatter about Lawler’s T-shirts, thought I’d share some info. My brother & I would call each other every Monday night to goof on them, they were so gaudy. Around this time, I was living near Memphis & would often see Jerry at our minor league baseball games.

As M.I.A. is one of my favorite FF songs, I was hyped to see it pop up…and then greatly confused. I’m satisfied knowing that the perpetrator will no longer pollute the airwaves - er, satellite waves?

My alt station in the 90s was all over the place. We got Nirvana, sure, but also the Smiths, college rock, nu metal, REM, Cypress Hill, Pixies...anything that wasn't pop or country pretty much found its way to our alt station.

It’s rough being priced out of a hobby you enjoy. I’m not a collector but I do like playing games on real hardware. Unfortunately I’m having to go the emulation route these days, it’s simply too expensive. Not to mention space issues - space is prime real estate with multiple children around.
