um.. EV demand hasn't slowed (only the global rate of growth has moderated slightly) even if you exclude China. Incumbent car companies and oil companies are doing everything possible to slow this transition, but its inevitable. Virtually all automotive jobs in ON will be EV in 10 years.

The US electricity grid quadrupled in capacity between roughly 1960 and 1990... the predicted expansion to accommodate the electrification of heat and transportation will be relatively slow in comparison
