My wife found military records from the previous owner of our home.
He was a fighter pilot in the Korean War.
Can't wait to read them. He died without family and willed the house to a fellow war vet who we purchased the home from in 2016.

There's a snake handler in my hometown that is famous in our parts.
He catches snakes in summer and icefishes and does deer mounting stuff in winter.
He's a living legend. Something from the past.

In 2019, pre pandemic, this little goblin ran out of a home and greeted us in a driveway in Chula Vista.
She was the last one out of a litter of four and there was no question she was ours since that day moving forward.
