And in the author's own words, the antisemitism crisis was "central" to his book...

Unite the Union not being very subtle... translation: a former employee is criminally f*cked. So much more to say on this bloke when this all comes out.

I just saw the news about Agnes Slocombe passing. Serving West Hendon alongside Agnes was a tremendous honour. She taught me what proper public service looked like. A passionate and practicing Christian, she turned her values into action with every act. A powerhouse and trailblazer. Very very sad.

Should win an award. Beautiful.

Thrilled that my former West Hendon ward councillor colleague Agnes Slocombe has been made an MBE. First Black Woman Mayor of Barnet. A trailblazer. And a constant source of wisdom.

A surprising admission from an unnamed Tory MP in ConHome yesterday. When they took over in 2010, poverty mainly centred around older people (not right of course). Now it's working age people in poverty, including people in work.

I'm standing for election for Labour's NCC! Please ask your CLP to nominate me, Lucy and Hajira for NCC, and for Mike and Alice for CAC - and then get your delegates to vote for us at conference!

Why is the Shadow Home Secretary promoting dodgy statistics from a far right racist that claims:
- "the BNP have been vindicated".
- Calls your leader "an obnoxious black woman".
- India is hell.
As Shadow Home Secretary we should expect at least the most basic due diligence.

I'd say this is a pretty good result in the context. Comparison with 2022 results. Safe Tory ward but the Labour vote held up very well.

Lovely late afternoon campaigning for @barnetlabour.bsky.social Beverley Kotey in the Finchley Church End by-election today. Including on a wonderful award winning new build development. Historically safe Tory ward but feels good on the doorstep. Very strong support for @sarahsackman.bsky.social

Thanks @politico.eu for covering the relaunch of Progress Magazine. In my opener I did say that it would be no tribute act...

If Reform were going to make a local government breakthrough against Labour in Greater London, it would have been in Burnt Oak. Very proud of my former @barnetlabour.bsky.social colleagues for holding the line, and holding it well yesterday.
