So you agree the statement that he supports it was wrong.

It doesn’t say that either

If someone crashes into a car I owned but hated and I say “I don’t mourn that car.” Does it mean I like being crashed into?

Where does he say he supports them?
January 3, 2026 at 9:47 PM
No it does not.

He explicitly doesn’t

I spent a while watching a lot of Cruise Ship influencer videos on YouTube - which I genuinely enjoyed in a way I can’t explain - so I feel like I’ve done it now.

Ron catches an episode of Grange Hill and has questions.

Well, it’s set in the 90s. Long montages over Nirvana and Alanis Morisette might fill a few gaps. Harry not really understanding why he cheered when newsround announces Thatcher has quit and explaining it to Ron. Porn in the bushes - jumpers for goalposts would all keep me on side.

I have a daydream of a British “Heat” though maybe as a spy drama rather than crime… with Tom Hollander vs Michael Sheen.

Isn’t this a very direct interpretation of individual enforcement? Might it not be more useful in spotting data anomalies? Targeting enforcement and even just keeping track of the statistics.

Why do you think it will be incredibly expensive?
September 26, 2025 at 9:42 AM
I think they are doing a poor job selling it but U.K. gov digital services aren’t bad but it’s hard to run all this stuff without a single spine that links your data. It’s true for everything from paying vehicle tax to measuring the population to immigration that it would all work a bit better.

Why is there a clash between secularism and faith? They aren’t mutually exclusive. Secular government protects faith and prevents the kinds of violence that made Europe an impossible mess.

It would be so much more fun (though likely awfu) if they were allowed to make k-pop daemon hunters style series at Mahoutokoro. If series 1 does well and JK stops caring maybe they would.

Hawk the slater IS rubbish!

All the stuff after the first season of the Witcher looked like that in reverse - “I’ve had to take a job churning out this fantasy nonsense which should take almost no effort.”

That Auntie would just eat before or after the restaurant where she has some soup. She doesn’t need the purse chicken unless she’s got wider health issues on top of the family

I had a few pints playing the pub quiz with 2 friends and my parents. Which we won. It was a bottle of Perry. Rocked up to school/6th form still half cut. It’s one of my fondest memories. I am in no hurry for the 11 years to pass though I am looking forward to taking my eldest. I’ll be ancient.

I think we know roughly the land cover and species composition so somebody has probably modelled a guess or estimated density from some hunting records
