TWP, 40 years in the business.

I've Stockholm Syndromed my wife with a few bands, most successful of which has been The Wedding Present (gateway drug was Cinerama), to the extent that a few years ago she gave me this.

Anyone else seen life affirming gigs this week?

Gwenifer Raymond at the Wight Bear in Southbourne last night.

Was looking forward to it but quite unprepared for the power, depth of sound, and the ragas! Absolutely stunning.

The only Le Carré book I've read (so far) was Our Game, on holiday recently. Great writing but did not expect it to be so dark. Had to follow with something frothier so went for Floyd's autobiography, which did the trick.
Subsequently read up on Le Carré, this was from 2017, he knew.

Decent poached eggs are sublime, with kippers for example. As a child one of these bastarding contraptions almost put me off poached eggs for life.
