It’s basically crap that the king has ‘private income’, which will now sustain the ghastly Andrew. He gets about £25m a year from the Duchies which were appropriated by the crown from previous owners and today not taxed. Basically theft or paid for by taxpayers like everything else they took.

Been thinking about the end game for the oligarchs pulling the strings in the US (and exporting their ideology). Cunning but uneducated people. They don't care about history or culture. The earth may end up as a smoking ruin but that's fine as long as they're rich and in charge.

Five plays in and I'm still getting under the skin of this fascinating work. Hints at nuances, for me O'r Coed suggests Joanna Brouk; Carol Mynyddog, Current 93's Dilly Song. I've also had my Mum translating their lyrics.
