No. I think many are reading too much into these moves after a week of record volatility across all asset classes.

I'm not convinced he went into this conflict with any specific asks in mind. But something like that would allow him to sell to Main St that China is "paying for" our reindustrialization efforts and sell to Wall St that big chunk of deficit paid for and downward pressure on rates.

Yeah and just wonder if that would also produce some longer term relief/stability. Just don't have any idea what it is we are wanting to "get" from them.
