Warrior, gardener, lover of silence. Standing on the breakwater and watching the world end.
For a city still struggling through a second medieval era in many ways, the Ster could be proud of its literacy rate, a rate mostly brought about by the citizenry's love for its Library.

But that morning, as seven gnomes plotted their next move under an old porch, the Library was being burgled.

Is there such a thing as too many pecans? Not in THIS house!

Less than two weeks to Boskone! At that point I expect we'll probably be the Sovereign States of Massachusetts And Occupied Connecticut (invaded due to war crimes involving crappy roadwork every summer) but what can you do.

(Aghhhhhhhh)

Given that I have no idea what to do with Bluesky, I've decided to use it to jot down writing prompts and other stuff. I'm an author, you know. I wrote such seminal novels as Sex Bunker Apocalypse. I'm the real deal.*

*not actually the real deal

Activism is inconvenient.

My inability to have sugar right now is also inconvenient.

Blood work tomorrow - I'd better be allowed to have sugar by the end of the week or it's Adam Brink 2028, running on the platform Fuck It We Ballin'

Democrats' playbook for Trump 2.0: Tune out the noise and focus on economic issues
As Trump floods the zone in his first week in office, Democrats are departing from their "resistance" strategy in his first term and zeroing in on issues that cost them the last election.

If you can't handle me at my worst, you certainly can't handle a spaceship powered by, ah, "fabulous energy" as it were.

Down periscope and all that.

Some days I can't write my own name. Other days (sadly, more rarely) writing is like discovering you've had a superpower for ages and are only just now getting around to using it.

Maybe someday I'll write something REALLY good. I sure hope so.

Damn questionable sushi! Never again!

Narrator: He would, in fact, order sushi from the same place again.

London's Calling is finally live! Find it here -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQ297RPV

and if you like it, please review it. The road to being a paid author is a long one and it's paved with (hopefully positive) reviews <3

More to come soon - lots of things planned as I figure out Bluesky!

My new book comes out tomorrow and I'm at that stage of exhausted anxiety that only comes with throwing your art out into the world. Whew!

Has there been another song like Counting Crows' Mr. Jones?
"I want to be someone who believes." It's never hit harder than these days, has it?

Sometimes you do everything correctly, and sometimes your garlic sprouts in the beginning of January anyway. Dangit, garlic, I have failed you.

“Shouldn’t we stay with the car, in case someone comes looking for us?” he asked. Then he shook his head in the dark at his own foolishness. They’d told no one where they were going, hardly had any idea where they were themselves. And in any case he wanted his hand held too.
