"there are lots of sons of a queen who aren't a prince" etc. (a queen vs. the queen regnant, maybe). From memory, some of those in 1917 lost their princely titles. But yes, we could indeed cease referring to him as that. Or deprive him of them by legislation — chuck in Mone at the same time.

I used enterprise support to try and work out which setting needed changing… but they had no idea. On the plus side, whatever they did in the last few days means it's working again on my pixel 9.

… silencing them without picking up the phone/getting distracted by its interruptions is a game changer.

It's weird how some features don't work for paying customers even with all the settings enabled.

And how they can just break and no one knows why.

Yes, I have taken a look at www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9499.... and whilst that does help a little in nomenclature, it doesn't especially 'solve' the way some operators have bodged the DNS. I don't want to move my DNS to one of the megacorps who've built their own hacks (in the true sense)

or do the DNS folx not use things like CDNs / care enough about this issue?

(ideally, we'd also solve DNSSec so that isn't broken with ALIAS RRs).
