I've never had a platform worth losing but I would never stoop to using weird code words when discussing topics as serious as suicide and rape. I think it's culturally pathetic and insulting that was ever pushed by anyone. I get the reasoning, but it shouldn't matter. We need less artifice.

Probably both depending on the person and the thing they're coming to terms with. Probably other stranger reactions too. There's a lot of us and we all do weird shit.

Capitalism and wealth being power is the only reason this gets complicated in modern day. Otherwise, big agree. Scum can make strangely brilliant works of art. And the best people can make really boring non compelling stuff. Art should be enjoyed without having to empower terrible people.

Apropos Bay, Pain and Gain is so good. I think it's the only movie of his I like but I haven't seen Bad Boys because it looks like a generic action flick. Weirdly I am looking forward to his current project, a documentary about a YouTube parkour group I follow. Really random.
