Just out of curiosity (having played around a bit with the ODR tools) - is edi2edi the one that lets you convert back to UDP after transporting over TCP? 👀

...This one via tropo is probably the craziest I've seen: the BBC mux received from transmitters in Scotland, all the way over in Czechia - at around 1600km/1000mi with pretty stable audio! - www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IuA...
DX DAB radio BBC, record in The Czech Republic via tropo (distance around 1600 km)

Definitely lots of success over here with DAB DX via tropo - I know that a couple of those Swiss muxes with the SRG SSR stations have been received on the south coast of England. Es is very rare but has been done - last year Spanish DAB was received in central Europe www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIXj...

Also, those reversable seats! I'd actually not seen those before a trip on those trains over there

I see it's been mentioned already, but screen is what I use too 😀

Thanks, there doesn't seem to be any sign of it on their Hotbird feeds so I guess they must be sending programming to it in another way

Out of curiosity, what times are the Russian transmissions on weekdays? I want to check out the BBC WS satellite feeds to see if one of them is being used for it like for the 639/720 mixed English/Arabic service

...Including the first appearance here of 5B from Mount Oriel

..Slight correction to this - it actually must be using the satellite feed labelled "BBC Eur Feed 1". This is broadcasting a stream of English programmes as well as the Arabic programming in parallel to 639/720. The English programming is different to what's going out on the main English BBC WS feed

This now seems to be carrying a proper radio service rather than audio from the BBC Arabic TV channel. Just listened at 1500z and both 639 and 720 switched from carrying live English BBC WS to an Arabic programme. Being distributed via the old "BBC Arabic" radio stream on the Eutelsat 7C satellite
