My favorite analysis of the Jaelan Phillips signing was from Greg Cosell on @insidethebirds.bsky.social. Eagles have been using single high safety because they can’t stop the run w/o safety help. If BG/Jaelan can set the edge and free up that safety, it opens up the defensive playbook.
