FT: PSG 2-1 Arsenal

I can’t say anything bad. This team is top, this manager is top, we should have scored more, they just didn’t come.

It hurts tonight, there’s no denying that, I feel the pain. But I’m proud of this club.

Onto next season. 💔

This team has basically never played without Havertz or Jesus upfront. They’re going to learn on the job. Important to keep the back door closed while we do. It was always going to be ropey, but 1-0 will do. That’s the reality of the next few weeks.

Ok, I get that it is a frustrating and boring watch but CONTEXT, people! Let’s transmit the energy we want the team to embody - positive, determined and patient! We have to accept that these next weeks may not be inspiring but there is glory in grinding it out.

I won't pretend I'm not poring over possible line-ups but my overarching feelings are captured perfectly by @arseblog.com in this piece. Our boys have left it all out on the pitch and to be sidelined at this point in their season (and in their careers) is gutting. Let's send all the love their way 💕
A moment for Havertz + how will Arteta react?
Morning all, happy Friday to you. Arsenal yesterday confirmed that Kai Havertz’s hamstring injury requires surgery, and that his season is well and truly over. I did mention this on the Arsecast yeste...

Don’t let the Gary Nevilles and city fans dim your glow, Gooners. We ran rampant over our rivals and deserve all the joy this morning! Be like Gabi and MLS and celebrate with abandon!

Ethan Nwaneri's goal ended a passing sequence of 36 uninterrupted passes in a move that lasted one minute & 54 seconds and involved every Arsenal outfield player.

It was the longest passing move leading to a Premier League goal since September 2023.

A straight red card should ALWAYS have the ref go to the screen. IT REALLY IS THIS SIMPLE.

I really appreciated this. I feel so protective of our players, our coach and our club and will never understand "fans" who feel it is their right to abuse them. No one could question their commitment after watching them play under so many challenging circumstances this past weekend.

19 - Only Mohamed Salah (16 goals, 12 assists) has been involved in more goals in all competitions among Premier League players this season than Bukayo Saka (8 goals, 11 assists). Production.
