I'll happily see anyone who committed crimes with Epstein go down, but you'd have to be a child or a complete and utter dipshit to think that this is going to be anything but a circus.
January 13, 2026 at 6:01 PM
You're right, it isn't hard to figure out why the GOP is going after Clinton in Congress over Epstein ties, while the DOJ simultaneously withholds the documents themselves. It's damage control. Inflate ties between Epstein and Democrats, while concealing ties between Epstein and Trump.

There's another important aspect to all this: when you create overly-simplistic rules about when police are allowed to kill people, the police go and find experts to train their officers to exploit those rules and kill people.
January 13, 2026 at 5:54 PM
"But Bernie Sanders calls himself a socialist, Republicans will never vote for him. We need Biden to win the primary because he's more electable."

Meanwhile the GOP: "JOE BIDEN IS A RADICAL LEFT COMMUNIST WHO WILL STEAL YOUR GUNS AND MOLEST YOUR DOG AND THE GUATEMALANS ARE EATING THE CONSTITUTION!"
January 13, 2026 at 4:29 PM
Lol fuck off and gargle some orange balls you fascist bootlicking trash.

Block the animal and move on people.
January 13, 2026 at 3:34 PM
Go in blasting with what exactly? We don't control congress, and likely still won't even if midterms go perfectly, so it's all just rhetoric.

We constantly get stuck in this debate of "do Democrats do enough" when they lack the means to. Wait until we have a majority to have that debate.

Purpleair is decently reliable I've found.
January 13, 2026 at 5:18 AM
Or is this the "actually the IDF attacked Nova music festival with helicopters" flavor of lunacy?
January 12, 2026 at 10:48 PM
Pointing out that Hamas is so brutal that the IDF has readopted a "better to die than be captured" protocol isn't the flex you think it is.
January 12, 2026 at 10:43 PM
You're just an accelerationist that thinks feeding the most vulnerable of us to the wolves is the only way to motivate people enough to bring about positive change. You can deny it all day but really this is just your childish way of taking revenge on a population that isn't progressive enough.
January 12, 2026 at 8:47 PM
Abortion rights. Social safety nets. Environmental protection. Transitioning to clean energy. Disaster preparedness and relief. Healthcare.

These are just some of the things that matter to me, they should matter to you, where Democrats are clearly the better option.
January 12, 2026 at 8:45 PM
I think you're lost.
January 12, 2026 at 8:15 PM
This is a joke, the Night of the Long Knives did primarily target SA leaders, and I do hope for a similar reversal of fortunes for Trump and his ilk, but other people were murdered as well, and it represents Hitler's complete consolidation of power. I hope nothing like it ever comes to pass.
January 12, 2026 at 6:58 PM
Well in that case, I hope their version of the Night of the Long Knives goes swimmingly!
January 12, 2026 at 6:55 PM
Don't get me wrong, there is value to *other* countries buying into supporting the mere right of Israel to exist, but the US already does that at a diplomatic level, so really without military support it does not amount to much unless other hostile countries buy in.
January 12, 2026 at 6:49 PM
Israel's existence hinges on its ability to use military force, I'm not sure that supporting the mere concept that Israel has a right to exist means anything in that context. Because of that reality, support for Israel has mostly been couched in terms of *military* support.
January 12, 2026 at 6:48 PM
In all likelihood, had she come out with a harder stance against US support for Israel, she'd have performed just as bad or worse in the election. US support for Israel is deeply entrenched and progressives have very little political capital these days.
January 12, 2026 at 5:36 PM
Now I think about it, optimistically, maybe he could have pulled an old man Biden style gaffe on some other issues the same way he did as VP with gay marriage in 2012, and forced the hand of the party.
January 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Scratch that, reverse it. The Bailey comes before the motte.
January 12, 2026 at 4:56 PM
Yeah I got the reversed.
January 12, 2026 at 4:55 PM
I'll agree with you there. Whatever Biden's accomplishments in office, he failed to meet the moment over and over and over again.
January 12, 2026 at 4:13 PM
It should be abolished, I'm just questioning the wisdom of claims that Biden was ridiculous to not abolish it years before it was exploited by another president. It's sort of like asking why Bush didn't abolish the DOJ.
January 12, 2026 at 4:02 PM
Imagine responding to a total stranger online who replied to your post in good faith... like this. Lol you are an absolutely trash person and I'm blocking you.
January 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Demanding impeachment and removal is entirely performative so long as the GOP controls congress.

Without a majority in the house and 67 senators, it's DOA, because the GOP won't defect when it comes to removal in the Senate.

Dens would have to pick up an additional 10 seats and lose none in 2026.
January 12, 2026 at 3:59 PM
In this case, "signing bombs is always bad." Of course, you never made that argument originally, you'll now abandon your original, false claim, never acknowledge such falseness, and act like you "won" the argument.
