Protect the benefits Provide clearer understanding and wider safeguarding to reassure disabled people that being regularly active will not threaten their benefits and other forms of government financial assistance. Equip health and care workers Ensure that better processes are in place for health and care workers to support disabled people to use physical activity in ways which work best for them. Increase accessible outdoor spaces Take a leading role in promoting and legislating design standards that ensure accessibility in local and national spaces.

It's Love Parks Week, a wonderful chance to celebrate green spaces and the chance they offer for being active outdoors.

Our manifesto asks policy makers to take a leading role in promoting and legislating design standards that ensure accessibility in local and national spaces.

With the Government’s plans to reform the SEND system this Autumn, we are pleased to support the @dcpcampaign.bsky.social campaign Fight for Ordinary.
It shows that children and young people with special educational needs want the same, ordinary things, that other children take for granted.

What an amazing day in Wiltshire as more than 100 people attended the GOGA games.

From those just starting out a new activity to groups that have been going for a while, GOGA meant something different to everyone in the room!

Everyone should be able to enjoy being active outdoors, yet for many disabled people that is not a reality.

#AccessibleOutdoors month is a perfect time to highlight the disparity between disabled people and non-disabled people when it comes to opportunities outdoors.
Only 44% of disabled people say it's easy for them to physically access outdoor spaces (vs 78% of non-disabled people).
